Christmas in May

This is an idea you can use in traditional as well as digital scrapping.  If you have a page with LOTS of photos (this is a sketch from Alesha Walls again) - make a matching page and put your journaling for each photo in the corresponding spot.  This way you have the "purty" page and also you have all the info you want to share.  Like THIS:
Purty page...

Journaling page...

What a clever idea. Never would have thought of it but I absolutely am going to borrow this one--well I guess I can't borrow it 'cause I'm not giving it back ;-)

How smart. Like Kristine said, I would have never thought of that, either.
This idea definitly goes into my "idea-book" for whenever I make a layout like yours.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Have a great Mothers Day.

Great idea!! I see you have an ornament that I have - the Snoopy one. I got a set of Peanuts ornaments & painted them for our first Christmas after we got married, 36 years ago! Just curious, when did you do yours? I still use them but I'm partial to Snoopy so I usually only put the ones with him on the tree now.

Mine would have been the year after I graduated college - so 1981 - Thirty years ago.

I have ALL the ones I made but I only hang one or two each year to remember that first Christmas on my own.
